Civils Site Agent

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of a leading main contractor to oversee projects within Yorkshire / Severn Trent Water. This international main contractor are a well-known name in the industry with a strong reputation for quality across all divisions. They are a key delivery partner for Yorkshire Water & Severn Trent Water and to this end have secured AMP 8 - meaning a further continuation of several decades delivering for both clients. Initial project is a civils & MEICA package on a Water Treatment Works near Doncaster. Value £9m. This will run well into 2025 and further work lining up after, with a total pipeline of 100+ unique schemes across both regions combined. Projects: Water infrastructure: water treatment / sewage treatment works, MEICA & heavy civils work, concrete bases, tanks, dosing systems etc. Duties as Site Agent: * Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines. * Ensuring HSE on site is kept to an absolute optimum level, maintaining safety records & regular audits. * Updating site specific RAMS. * Undertaking daily site paperwork. * Progress meetings with senior management team & Yorkshire Water. * Managing site including sub-contractors to ensure quality delivered. * Ordering materials & plant. * Promoting sustainable solutions for projects. * Provide reports for projects - costs, budgets, progress etc. Experience Required as Site Agent: * Must have experience as Site Agent / Site Manager on civil engineering schemes for Yorkshire Water / Severn Trent Water or a similar client. * Must have experience delivering: WWTW, water treatment, RC works, heavy civils, concrete works or flood defence etc. * Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and full driving license. * Beneficial: Temporary Works, EUSR Water, Appointed Person etc. Remuneration: On offer is a salary of up to £63,000 (dependant on experience) plus... company vehicle or allowance, fuel, annual leave, healthcare, 7.5% pension scheme and plenty more benefits.
